- Kiwi is offering a deep discount on business subscriptions for its Gmail and G Suite desktop app.
Kiwi, a popular Mac app that brings Gmail and G Suite to the desktop, has slashed the price it’s charging for the business version of its software through the end of October. Instead of $85 per year per user, it’s $59. In addition, the software allows you to bring apps like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and more out of the browser and into a fully-fledged desktop app on your Mac.
In addition to the business package, Kiwi is available as a free lite version with limited features and only covers two accounts. Upgrading to the full version adds support for six accounts and more features like the popular “Focus Filtered Inbox. That version is currently $35 per year. The full and business versions come with a free 15-day trial.
Among its many features, Kiwi 3.0 includes a multi-windowed interface and recently closed documents section. The former lets you open every document-based Google application on the desktop in a separate window, which you can’t do through a web browser. The latter makes it much easier to find your previous Google documents. It also remembers the size and placement of each window previously opened.
The app is also available on Windows for any businesses with teams that have both Mac and Windows users. The software still supports Gmail plugins and notifications as well.
