Apple issues release candidate for iOS 14.7

Apple has seeded the release candidate version of iOS 14.7, a sign that a full release of the operating system will arrive in the near future.

The latest builds can be downloaded by developers in the beta-testing scheme via the Apple Developer Center, or as an over-the-air update for hardware already using earlier beta builds. A public beta version of the releases is expected to start arriving soon, and will be available through the Apple Beta Software Program website.The release candidate follows the fourth round of betas from June 29, which in turn followed the third from June 14. The second round arrived on June 2, and the first round was on May 19.
