Here’s everything you can buy in the 2nd Monster Hunter Rise DLC wave!

Players can purchase a value pack in order to save money.

In the Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event on April 27, Capcom announced another wave of paid downloadable content available for use in Monster Hunter Rise. As with the previous DLC available upon the game’s release, this wave of downloadable content is more or less comprised of cosmetic items that have no bearing on the gameplay quality. Unless you think looking and sounding super cool improves the gameplay quality, in which case this is the DLC for you!

Can I bundle and save?

The paid downloadable content will be available in a value bundle on the Nintendo eShop called “Monster Hunter Rise DLC Pack 2”, for $29.99 USD. The total value of the DLC Pack 2 is $41.26 USD, so players can save a lot by buying the bundle. Please note that the value bundle does not include any Character Edit Vouchers. Players can also choose to purchase individual items on the Nintendo eShop.

What’s Layered Armor?

Layered Armor allows players to customize their appearance without sacrificing the skills and defence levels you want. Players can purchase Layered Armor for their Hunter in the Nintendo eShop, or by scanning in the Monster Hunter Rise amiibo. As of the Version 2.0 Update, players can also forge Layered Armor for their Hunter at any Smithy. Buddies can use Layered Armor as well, which can be accessed when trying to customize their appearance.

Monster Hunter Rise allows for a wide variety of player expression. While the DLC isn’t required to enjoy the game to the fullest, it’s nice to have some extra options if you ever want to change up your look. The vast amount of content at hand, alongside the amazing gameplay, definitely makes this one of the best games available on the Nintendo Switch.
