New analysis of Apple Podcasts data finds a large number of programs have three or fewer episodes, detracting from the recent headlines touting the platform’s two million titles.
In breaking down the Apple Podcasts data, industry advisor Amplifi Media discovered a good chunk of podcasts, some 26%, produced a solitary episode — “one and done,” so to speak.Digging further, the outlet found that 44% of all podcasts produced fewer than four episodes.
