Tim Cook speaks out against violence in Myanmar

Apple CEO Tim Cook has pledged to support aid groups in Myanmar, calling the recent coup there an “urgent reminder” about standing together against racism.

Following the Myanmar military’s ousting of leader Aung San Suu Kyi, there have been mass public protests in the country. Tim Cook has now added Apple’s voices to those of President Biden and organizations such as the United Nations, in condemning the violence.
